Fit and sizing

How do PIKA PJs fit?

PIKA PJs fit snug, so size up if you are between sizes. Kids sizes run 2–14 and go by height and weight; for example, size 6 fits children 40–46 in tall and 34–48 lb. Compare your child's measurements with the size chart.

What sizes do you make?

Baby sizes run 0–24 months and kids sizes run 2–14. Women's and teen sets run XS–XXL, with petite sizes 3XS and XXS that match kids' sizes 12 and 14. Men's sets run S–XXL. See the size chart for measurements.

Fabric and care

What is the composition of the bamboo?

The fabric composition is 95% rayon from bamboo and 5% spandex.

Are PIKA PJs tagless?

Yes. PIKA PJs are tagless, so there is no tag to scratch at the neck. They also have an elastic waistband and snug cuffs for a secure fit.

How do I care for PIKA?

Bamboo fabrics hold up to normal wear and tear, and a little extra care helps them last longer. Machine wash cold and tumble dry on low, or ideally hang to dry. More details are on our Fabric & Care page.

Are PIKA PJs safe for children's sleepwear?

PIKA PJs are snug-fitting and comply with Canadian sleepwear regulations for tight-fitting children's garments. None of our collection is treated with flame retardant chemicals.

Are your fabrics tested for harmful substances?

Yes! The fabric we use for our pajamas is certified under OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 by our fabric supplier. That means it has been independently tested for substances that can be harmful to health, so the whole family can feel good about what they sleep in.

Sensitive skin and sensory needs

Are PIKA PJs good for sensitive skin or sensory needs?

PIKA PJs are designed for children with sensitive skin and sensory needs, with a tagless design, soft bamboo fabric and a snug fit. Can kids wear PIKA PJs as a base layer?

Many customers tell us they wear PIKA PJs under ski suits and hockey gear. For deep cold, see our merino base layers.

Gifts and matching sets

Do you have matching pajamas for siblings or the whole family?

Many prints come in more than one age group. For example, a print may come as a baby zip sleeper, kids PJs and a kids snuggle dress, and some prints also come as women's or men's lounge sets. Look for the same print name across the baby, kids and women's collections, or visit our Make it a Set page.

Do you offer gift cards?

Yes. You can buy a PIKA gift card online. It is delivered by email and does not expire.

What if a gift doesn't fit?

Email hello@pikalayers.com with your order number within 10 days of receiving the order. Items must be unworn and unwashed. You cover the cost of sending items back, and we cover the cost of shipping the replacement. All sale items are final sale.

Shipping and orders

Where do you ship?

We ship to Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom. If you would like PIKA shipped somewhere else, email hello@pikalayers.com and we will try to help.

How fast will my order ship, and when should I order for Christmas?

We aim to ship your order within 1–2 business days of receiving it (excluding weekends and holidays). Shipping is free in Canada and the US on orders over $150. For delivery by Thursday, December 24, order by these dates. They are estimates based on our delivery times over the past year plus two extra days, and holiday delays can still happen.

Who pays import taxes and duties?

All of our shipments originate in Canada. Depending on your country, you may need to pay import taxes or duties, and these fees are the customer's responsibility. We can't estimate customs clearance times, so please allow extra time for orders shipped outside Canada.

Can I change or cancel my order?

You have up to 1 hour after checkout to get in touch. We will do our best to accommodate changes, but after that the original order will be processed and shipped. Email hello@pikalayers.com with any questions.
